The Villages of Citrus Hills, Hernando, Florida 

The Villages of Citrus Hills is a master planned community that builds and sells over one-hundred and twenty homes annually to new home buyers age fifty and over. In the late 1960's Samuel Tamposi enlisted the help of Ted Williams, the Red Sox star, in the development of Citrus Hills in Florida, a 15,000-acre tract about 75 miles north of Tampa. The project was little more than watermelon fields and thick forest when Mr. Tamposi and a partner acquired it in 1968, but now it has two golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer, more than 3,000 houses and a population of approximately 8200.

Citrus Hills has been a website design and marketing consultation client of Means-of-Production for even years. We have helped them create four websites, two for the primary business, one for their real estate form and another for explicitly designed to engage those landowners who have never built homes. We also created an inbound marketing process using Hubspot marketing automation software and have managed their Google Adwords account before it being brought in-house. Doug Wornick, their Director of Marketing, counts on us to manage and update the firm's websites, monitor analytics, build email campaigns for nome shows and maintain their blog RSS to email feed. They have even engaged us to create architectural photographs for the website and other marketing purposes.
