Home Staging Photography

These are photographs of a Medford, MA home that was staged for sale. The property was renovated and stayed on the market for less than 30 days. The images were taken using an HDR process to ensure windows were not overly exposed and to allow highlight areas within the scene retained detail while still maintaining the higher overall contrast that matched the clients existing portfolios. The structure is a renovated 1930's cape cod style home. The original arched doorways, hardwood floors, and moldings retain the character of the building. A wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed to create a space that is perfect for entertaining family and friends. The images are being used as on a website portfolio to promote home staging services.

Landscape Architecture Photography

Kimberly Mercurio Landscape Architecture is a client who has used our marketing services for her new website, print advertising and photography. The Chatham, MA project was a complete redesign of an existing home in an area where sustainable design was a priority for municipal approvals. The images were taken during the height of the Summer season when the flowers were in bloom.  It was important to illustrate how the ipe deck and bluestone patio ran the expanse of the building. A wall of floor to ceiling glass walls provide an uninhibited view of the landscape and ocean.  The landscape design for this modern home is understated, elegant and contemporary.

Interior Design Photography

This interior design project was photographed for Bee's Knees Interior Design in Hopkinton, MA. The project was photographed for a Squarespace website built to illustrate their design services. The home is designed in a charming French Country look that is both elegant, and rustic. A light soft yellow, white and blue predominate the look and feel of the interior space. Fabric, wall colors, and furniture were selected by Bee's Knees for the entire home and their workshop created the draperies, slip covers, and needlepoint used in the living space. Forty usable images were taken of this home during a half day of photography. The number of images allowed the clients to use them for ongoing social media posts and their Houzz page.

Landscape Design Photography

The unique feature of this marsh front traditional Cape Cod home is the vast lily field that abuts the driveway. The landscape architect chose varieties of daylilies that bloom at different times throughout the summer. The result is a season long field of color. The owners of the property requested a fenced in yard that surrounds the house allowing them to easily let their dogs outside. These images were used as part of online marketing, direct mail and print campaigns. They are also posted on Houzz as part of an annual paid advertising campaign, and a project portfolio.

Interior Design Photography

The photographs taken of this new home construction project were used on Debbe Daley Design's website. Means-of-Production built the website on Squarespace and took the images using the HDR composite method. HDR is the process of combining multiple exposures to ensure that highlights and shadow areas contain detail. The images were edited in post-production to match existing images on her website.

Landscape and Architectural Photography

This vacation home on Cape Cod was renovated and designed by Kimberly Mercurio Landscape Architecture and Peter McDonald Architecture. The barn is new construction and doubles as a pool house for the inground pool. The pools surround and patio is dry laid bluestone with thyme. The chaise platform at the far end of the pool is ipe. One hundred and forty images were taken of this property and the photography was taken over two sessions. We started at dawn to capture the enveloping morning light, came back in the late afternoon to set up and photograph during the hour before and after dusk.
